Factors influencing Healthcare-associated Infection Control of Caregivers

Purpose The purposes of this study were to examine the relationships between knowledge, awareness, safe environment, and performance standard precautions identify factors associated with precautions. Methods This was a descriptive research. A structured questionnaire on used for survey convenience sample 150 caregivers. Data collected from July August 2019 analyzed using statistics, independent t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, multiple regression SPSS/WIN 25.0 program. Results mean scores 15.77±3.34, 7.35±1.91, 4.55±2.05, 55.20±10.11 respectively. Performance showed statistically significant positive knowledge (r=.54, p<.001), awareness environment (r=.50, p<.001).
